Cuteeeer Every Day!

I know that it is a known thing that most parents think that they have the cutest kid/s in the whole world but there are moments that you step back and realize ....DANG! Literally our kid IS the cutest! I know that may be hard for some to hear but I mean look at this adorable face :-D

There are moments throughout the day that I just look at him or hear him laughing at himself in another room and realize what a huge blessing and joy he is to our life. Lately he has become such an incredible helper :-) When I unload the dish washer he puts the silverware (Expect for the knives) away for me. Of course they are never in the right spot, but they are in the right drawer which I find impressive! When I sweep or vacuum he cries until he is the one holding the broom or vacuum. And even when it is time to dust, he has his own cloth and is dusting as well. He's a cleaning champ and I pray this is a glimpse into the future of him always dying to do chores for me :-P

I have very important Shout Outs to make today:
1. The first goes to one of my dear friends, Hayley who just had her first baby on Tuesday! A precious baby girl named Gianna-Marie Therese :-D
2. The second to my husband who put together a baller DATE NIGHT for us on Sunday including a movie, buffalo wings and ending with drinks in the Hemisphere Tower, which overlooks the whole city! It was a perfect night to hear about each others week and recap on our life as a family and our dreams for the future. :-)
3. My sisters are the BEST! And double shout outs to them for watching Joseph that night
(love you sista's)!

Love and Peace to all and to all a good night! (Did I mention that I am sneakily starting to decorate for Christmas around our house! I am trying to wait until Thanksgiving but dang it is so hard with all those amazing Christmas decorations calling my name at every store......)

Where in the World are the Zucco's?

For years I talked about how cool it would be to move out of the small town of Steubie and live in a place where you had cute coffee shops down the road, maybe an ocean within an hour or two, and parks to play in and go running in! It's weird to wake up now only 15-19 min from Downtown San Antonio and realize that I am now in that place!  We moved to San Antonio at the end of March :-)

We had never been here before so it was a complete leap of faith! My parents had lived here when they were first married and loved it and we had some great college friends who live here now, so we trusted God and followed His lead. Matt got a job working at a place called Haven for Hope where he helps men and women of San Antonio get off the streets. He has been really enjoying his job! Joseph has two main loves in life: OUTSIDE and FOOD! If he has either of those things he is throughly happy. Imagine how excited he gets when he can both be outside and be eating ;-P. And me, well you know life as a mom is pretty easy going, not a lot to do. I get to sit at home and spend hours reading and making scrapbooks and working out, very relaxing. JOKE! Life has been a little busy.  Along with being a full-time mom to Joseph (which I LOVE!) I am currently working as a waitress part time, and I started my own business back in April as an Independent Consultant with Arbonne, a natural health and wellness company (let me know if you are looking for any sweet Christmas ideas for family or friends, we have some sweet stuff ;-). When I'm not working, Joseph and I love going on walks in the parks near by and checking out the birds and dogs (his favorite animal). God has been so good and even in our busy lives He is always showing me the importance of the here and now. This is a chapter of our lives and Matt and I are so excited to be going through this journey together! One thing I learned from my parents growing up was that no matter how rich, how, poor, how busy etc a couple must always take time to learn how to love the other more fully! That is something I have always taken to heart and have seen the importance of. So once a week Matt and I go to our favorite local coffee shop for a date! (Yes Joseph is usually with us :-). But most importantly we are together and it gives us time to hear about each others lives and for this I am so grateful! So excited to share more with you all soon!

God Bless

Family!

Family has always been one of the most important things to me! I remember years ago my sister telling me how important family was to her and that no matter what family will always be there for me. That has stuck with me through all these years. So here I am 25 years old, young, in love and yes, now a mom! What an adventure these last few years have been. I know that it has been a busy few years, engagement, marriage, baby, mission, big move etc. and because of that I have realized that I haven't been able to be in touch with family nearly as much as I have wanted to. And now living in Texas has made that even a little harder :-P I would love though to let you all know what we are doing down here in this great state and have a chance to share all the funny, sad and exciting stories of the Zucco Family! I hope you enjoy the updates on our life and I would love to hear your comments and for you to be just as much as part of this blog as we are :-)! Enjoy!!!
